Indian Incense: Hem
HEM is world famous incense for its Precious line of traditional Indian Incense as well as a wide variety of other fine fragrances. Hem Incense are made from selecting woods, resins, florals and fine essential oils and are blended skillfully with expert care and love. Burning incense sticks could prove harmful for the lungs. However, it solely depends on the type of chemicals used in it. However, if it's made of natural ingredients, then it is not toxic to anyone.
Hem Incense is an aromatic biotic material that releases fragrant smoke when burned. The term refers to the materials itself, rather than to the aroma that it produces. It is used for aesthetic reasons and also in therapy, meditation, and ceremony. It may also be used as a simple deodorant.
India is the world's main incense producing country and is a healthy exporter to other countries (though export sales have been troubled by increasing costs of the raw materials and by other factors, such as Western countries are buying unperfumed sticks, and by Indian companies producing fakes or imitations). Incense sticks and cones burning has taken place in India for thousands of years, and India exported the idea to China and Japan and other Asian countries.
The hem is a popular brand not only in India but also all over the world. They make a huge range of fragrances - far more than other incense manufacturers. Most Hem incense sticks are "dipped", meaning they have a charcoal base that is dipped in perfume oil, but they do also make a small range of high quality masala incenses.
The smoke of burning Hem Incense is interpreted by both the Western Catholic and Eastern Christian churches as a symbol of the prayer of the faithful rising to heaven. Incense is often used as part of a purification ritual.
As for the perfume which you shall make, you shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto you holy for the LORD. Whosoever shall make like unto it, to enjoy the smell thereof, shall even be cut off from his people.
Compared to other brands, most Hem incense has a relatively mild fragrance. That's not a bad thing - not everyone wants fragrance so strong it makes your eyes water. Popular fragrances in the Hem range include Anti Stress, Cannabis, Dragons Blood, Egyptian Musk, Palo Santo, Patchouli, Precious Chandan, Precious Fragrance, Precious Lavender, Vanilla, and White Sage. Some of our favorites include Cedar, Cinnamon Orange, Egyptian Jasmine, French Vanilla, Moon, Sun, White Musk, and Ylang Ylang.
