Resin incense is the hardened secretion of plants that have been ritualistically burned for thousands of years. It is more concentrated and is not diluted with any burning substance, giving it more aromatic properties than an incense stick or cone. Resin incense can be used for meditation, building focus, and relaxation.
Also, because it is a type of incense that cannot burn by itself, you will need a few more tools. Firstly, you will need the incense itself, with your preferred fragrance—charcoal tablets for burning the resin, along with tongs, sand, rocks, spoon, and a matchstick or lighter. We also recommend using a ceramic toaster or a tile for the process for safety reasons and coal that does not have saltpetre.
There are many methods to burning resin. We will be discussing two ways of doing this. Nonetheless, you will need the same number of tools at a minimum, with an added candle, “aromatherapy oil warmer”, vegetable oil, and your preferred kind of holder.
How Long Does Resin Incense Burn?
Resin incense can burn depending on the quantity of it being used. However, once lit up, charcoal tablets can last for up to 15-20 minutes, and oil warmers can last for up to 4 hours. During this moment, you can repeat the process and put in as much resin as you want.
